What is Jetpack Leadership Cohort?
Jetpack Leadership Cohort is a program for teaching vital Leadership skills to a dedicated group of up-and-coming leaders in our industry. Over the next 12 months, we’ll focus on:
- Workshop topics from Arcade’s Seven Values of Leadership
- Peer sessions to develop smart solutions to leadership challenges
- Building a network of contemporaries as a product of working through the program together.
We will meet on the second Wednesday of every month, starting on January 8, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. through 6:00 pm at Arcade Wayfinding’s office right off the West Seattle bridge (with ample free parking!)
Who can apply to Jetpack Leadership Cohort?
Anyone who is committed to learning about leadership and putting in the work (and is currently engaged in a position that is in or adjacent to the construction industry) is encouraged to apply. Financial assistance is available to candidates who require it. Please drop us an e-mail at email@example.com to find out more about financial assistance.
How do employers benefit from sponsoring an applicant?
Employers will benefit from participants’ improved team leadership, problem-solving skills, and increased network of capable industry connections in addition to the knowledge and skills that participants will bring back and start incorporating in the teams in real time.
Is it required that participants miss work?
Our sessions are scheduled to intentionally overlap with a traditional workday. Just as participants are encouraged to contribute together with their employers in order to pay tuition, the involved time should belong to both participant and employer. We’ll spend part of the first session developing simple time management tools that will help minimize the impact to work and home life.
What is the overall time commitment?
The only requirement for the program is that participants attend (1) four-hour session per month. The program also includes monthly reading assignments, an orientation and end of program event; all of which are optional. Another optional component of the program is an hour of individualized coaching per month, to be held on the phone or in person at Arcade’s office, at your discretion.
How much does Jetpack Leadership Cohort cost?
Tuition is $3,000 for the year. All required events will be held at Arcade Wayfinding, in West Seattle. Sessions will include coffee, snacks and light dinner.
How do I apply?
There is no application fee, so if you think the Cohort might be a good fit, you should put in an application today! Please submit your reply through the online submission form at www.jetpackcohort.com/apply-now.
What happens next?
After applications are reviewed, we’ll contact you to address any questions. We’ll hold our ‘Getting to Know Each Other’ kickoff event at Arcade’s home office so everyone is prepared to get to work at our first official session!
We want to keep the group small enough to allow space for everyone to develop meaningful relationships, so seats are limited. Get your application in today and Get Your Jetpacks On – this is going to be a lot of fun!
